CRRC MA Executive Worried About Possibility of US Trade War With China

Railroad equipment is included on the list of Chinese products the Trump administration is threatening to hit with tariffs in retaliation for what the U.S. says is Chinese theft of American technology.

CRRC MA Vice President Jia Bo said he and his fellow CRRC executives worry that the threatened tariffs — called a “Section 301” investigation after the applicable part of the U.S. Trade Act of 1974 — might change the world marketplace for rail equipment.
